Dedicated to encouraging kids to play sports for fun and to develop skill,

sportsmanship and good character.

What is IBA about?
Encouraging kids! All kids mature and develop in different ways and at different times. We believe kids need playing time, with instruction, to improve as basketball players. We teach kids how to play basketball for fun and encourage them to develop good character while playing.

We provide year round opportuities for all kids to receive expert coaching and adequate playing time needed for improvement. Few get the playing time or coaching which fosters improvement in their skills.

We try to treat each child as we would our own. Not everyone is naturally blessed with tremendous skill, but we do feel each child can learn the importance of developing character through basketball which will prove more valuable than their ability to play basketball. For kids who were not selected for a community travel team, we offer the opportunity to attempt to develop skill and confidence to afford them to possibly make such a team, once they mature physically and as a basketball player.
