COVID-19

UPDATES AT THE INDIANA BASKETBALL ACADEMY

Updated Summer 2021

We continue to monitor and follow the guidelines for COVID-19 so that we can continue providing the safest environment for our players, parents, and staff to the best of our abilities.  In compliance with Federal, State, and local safety guidelines we continue to update our procedures to support the health of our players, families, and communities.

IBA Staff and Facility

  • IBA Staff will be required to monitor their health each day and required to stay home if they are sick.  Anyone exhibiting symptoms related to COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) will not be allowed to participate and sent home immediately.

  • Frequently touched surfaces will be sanitized regularly and deeply cleaned weekly.

  • Symptom Precaution Signage, Social Distancing Signage, and Proper Hand-washing Signage can be seen throughout the building.  Floor and seat markers are in place to remind and encourage social distancing and frequent hand-washing.

  • Contact tracing procedures are in place when players, teams, or families need to be notified.

  • Currently, our facility is approved for 100% capacity.

  • PARENTS ARE CONSIDERED TO BE THE FIRST LINE OF SAFETY DEFENSE.  IN ALLOWING THEIR CHILD TO PARTICIPATE IN A GAME, THEY ARE CONFIRMING THEIR CHILD, AND ANYONE IN THEIR HOUSEHOLD, IS NOT EXHIBITING ANY SYMPTOMS RELATED TO COVID-19.

  • Facial Masks are no longer mandated.  In accordance with CDC and IN State Health Dept, it is reccomended that unvaccinated children and adults wear a mask.

  • Questions about COVID-19 protocol or need to report any infromation, call Andrew White at (317) 519-7149.
