Coach Andrew White
IBA Owner, Coach, Trainer
Andrew is a native of South Bend where he was Player of the Year for Northern Indiana at Penn High School. His college career at Central Michigan and Ball State University was cut short by knee injuries. Andrew is considered one of the top basketball trainers in the Central Indiana area and loves working with players of all skill levels, from those children just starting out to those with NBA aspirations. Andrew is a firm believer that building a strong base of fundamental skills is the key to success in basketball.
Andrew and his wife, Sylvia, are the parents of son George and daughter Hazel. Andrew has been at the Indiana Basketball Academy since 2003.

“I have played basketball my whole life. Grew up training at the IBA and going to all the summer camps. Played Varsity basketball at Carmel High School before transferring to Heritage Christian where I graduated. Played College basketball for Mount Saint Joseph, and Elgin College before deciding I wanted to go the coaching route. Found a passion for coaching in 2019 when I started working at the IBA as a senior in high school doing summer camps. I have been working at the IBA ever since and just went full-time with the IBA in August.” - Will Christie

“I grew up in Fishers Indiana, graduating from Hamilton Southeastern high school. I grew up playing basketball with my older brother’s teams and eventually found the IBA, where I played from elementary through high school. I currently live in the Noblesville area and attend Indiana University, completing an degree online. Basketball has always been extremely important to me, and I am very excited for the opportunity to continue to be apart of the IBA family.”

Adam Bontreger
General Manager, Coach
Coach Adam brings 15 years of high school varsity basketball coaching experience and over 200+ varsity wins. He oversees all operations for IBA. Coach Adam also servss as a school administrator and completed his Ed.D in 2026. As a player Adam was a part of two state championship teams at Westview High School and played college basketball at Huntingon University. He takes great pride in serving the families of IBA. Adam and his wife Stephanie live in Whitestown and have four children, two boys and two girls.
Fun Fact: Coach Adam & Owner Andrew were on an AAU team together in high school!
